Console & Console Trim Pieces Removed
used the B&M SSK instructions along with Center Console Delete Gallery
most of the screws were T15 Torx fittings
Had to run to get a T10 bit for the console lid removal
The trim pieces, near the center stack, were very difficult to remove, but nothing broke; it was ~50*F in the garage, but I pulled the car outside for a while to get more light, so this I'm sure didn't help.
For removing the trim pieces from the center console, I brought it inside in an attempt to let the console warm up a little. I also used a a little bit of heat in a gentle sweeping motion from a heat gun on low to warm up the clips. This made the trim piece removal much much easier.
Next, steering wheel removal.....
